Our roots
Rooted in India. Open to every idea.
BharatOS is an India-built project exploring a more personal desktop experience, with a distinctly Indian point of view and room for ideas from everywhere.
A point of view
Inspired by many ways of thinking and working.
The project's reference page describes India as many languages, many ways of working and a spirit of making. BharatOS takes inspiration from that everyday ingenuity while staying open to people and ideas from everywhere.
“Made in India” is the project's stated positioning. This page does not claim a particular legal entity, office location, team size or product release.
